BANDUNG-West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan said the growth of sharia in West Java showed a positive trend. The future is expected to grow by 30 percent.
It was revealed Ahmad Heryawan after following the opening ceremony of the Sharia Economic Festival (FESyar) Regional Java 2017 in Pudai Bandung, Wednesday night (13/09/2017)
Nationally, seen from the sharia financial sector, West Java occupies the second position after DKI Jakarta
"So if there is a banking industry in West Java, both in the form of banks and non-banks, the 10 percent is sharia." It is expected that in the future it can reach 30 percent, "said West Java Governor
Aher greeting West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan said Sharia Economic Festival initiated by Bank Indonesia Representative Office (KpW) West Java is needed by the community. It is expected that this activity will be a motivation for economic growth as well as taking economic action from upstream to downstream of Shari'ah bases.
"Of course with the spirit of Sharia is really needed for the people of West Java," said Aher.
According to Aher, although the sharia economy system is said to be inclusive because its spirit comes from Islam but it is universal, it can be done by all parties.
It will also encourage the Muslim community especially to keep up with the times because with the growth of technology and information to be followed, any known economic system now is a commonly known and universal system that applies to all.
"Of course this syariah economic system is inclusive but can be done by all parties though its spirit origin from Islam," he concluded. (MAT)
