    BIJB Development Report is Very Progressive


    JAKARTA-Hope the operation of West Java International Airport (BIJB) Kertajati in Majalengka and become the departure hajj airport in next year, felt the greater. West Java Provincial Government has signed a mutual agreement between PT Jasa Sarana, PT BIJB, PT Danareksa Investment Management, PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero), regarding the purchase of shares in PT International Airport West Java. In addition, signatories of understanding were also conducted related to the operation of Kertajati Airport.

    West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) said the agreement involving Danareksa is also aimed to issue a Limited Investment Fund (RDPT). Thus, airport construction becomes more certain in accordance with the plan.

    "We agree on the presence of new shareholders in PT BIJB, the first shareholder of Danareksa in the form of RDPT, the second new shareholder of Angkasa Pura II (AP II)," said Governor Ahmad Heryawan at the Coordinating Ministry for the Marine Affairs Ministry, MH Thamrin Street Jakarta, Tuesday (12/09/2017).

    Aher also mentioned, with the agreement of the release of shares, BIJB and Angkasa Pura II will jointly operate BIJB Kertajati Airport.

    "After Angkasa Pura II became a shareholder it was a joint task, now AP II has become an integral part of BIJB because it is a shareholder," Aher said.

    Governor Aher also briefly mentioned the extension of airport runway (run way) to 3,300 meters, he said, land acquisition is targeted to be completed this year. Then the non-toll road exemption to have a route to the toll and non toll airports.

    "For the non-toll road, Rp 77 billion has been provided for the toll road and land acquisition of Rp 120 billion has been provided," he added.

    The more confident with the target, the Governor also said, Kertajati Airport West Java, has been planned to be able to serve the pilgrim flights next year.

    Related to this, the Coordinating Minister for the Ministry of Marine Affairs Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan said all stakeholders have agreed, Kertajati Airport can serve haj flight in 2018.

    "All have agreed, so the target of our pilgrimage next year is from there, now must be resolved such as infrastructure problems, there is still one unfinished road connecting to the toll is 2 km, but that also Insha Allah finished," said Luhut.

    As for the plan, Kertajati Airport will temporarily serve 14 flight routes, consisting of 10 domestic flight routes and 4 international flight routes.

    For international flight routes, the airport will serve flights to Saudi Arabia for umroh and hajj, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Bangkok, then Thailand.

    While domestic flights, will go to Medan, Bali, and Surabaya. Currently committed airlines will open routes at Kertajati Airport is Citilink, Qatar Airlines, Sriwijaya
