    Membership of BPJS Kesehatan in West Java Reaches 60%


    BANDUNG - BPJS Kesehatan membership in West Java has reached 60%

    According to the Head of Healthcare and Social Security Agency (BPJS Kesehatan) Jeni Wihartini, it includes a total of 60% of the active workers in companies that are domiciled in West Java. More of that the participation of the company is still continues to be driven.

    “Public participants now has reached 60 percent until the end of 2015 and we will continue to drive up participant in the company until July 2019,” he said.

    Jeni also added that in the expired date of the obligations BPJS membership, company remains defaulters will be penalised according to the law.

    "There is a regulation for companies which not register their employee in health social security will give sanctions both in administrative, and even closures the company,” he said.

    BPJS Kesehatan will continue to pursue the remaining 40% of the population in West Java who have not joined through the socialisation in each city/district in West Java.
