BANDUNG-West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) attended the welcoming ceremony of West Java Police Chief Inspector General Pol. Drs. Agung Budi Maryoto, M.Si who now officially serves as West Java Police Chief to replace Insp. Gen. Pol. Dr. Drs. H. Anton Charliyan, M.P.K.N as of September 5, 2017. Based on the Telegram (TR) of the Chief of Police Number: ST / 2032 / VIII / 2017. Anton Charliyan who has served West Java Police Chief for 8 months 17 today will occupy his new position as Deputy Head of Education and Training (Wakalemdiklat) Police.
In his speech Aher advised the new police chief who used to serve as South Sumatra Police Chief is to continue to strive to maintain a sense of security and prosperity in West Java, because for him two things are mutually sustainable and a condition of smooth development.
"West Java is unique, as of December 31, 2016 BPS version of the number of West Java residents has scored 47.37 million people, although the population is the most but alhamdulillah West Java people who do not like to riot, gentle, and friendly to make it a safe province," said Aher at the event held at the Intercontinental Dago Resort Bandung (8/9/2017)
