BANDUNG-West Java International Airport (BIJB) in Majalengka Regency, West Java will be a transportation access that can support the economy in West Java, especially the eastern part.
It got attention from Bank Indonesia where the Head of West Java Representative BI, Wiwiek Sisto Widayat visited and discussed with the management and development of BIJB, Thursday (7/9).
The delegation of Bank Indonesia was received by the Director of Finance of BIJB M. Singgih and the rank of BIJB officials and monitored the location of the project.
"This activity aims to see the progress of the construction of Kertajati International Airport project and the challenges faced in the process," said Head of West Java BI Wiwiek.
From the results of the FGD, he knows there are several issues that can be resolved by coordinating between relevant agencies.
Problems encountered include still constrained 13 land areas of 3 hectares which is the authority of the West Java Provincial Government.
In addition, accessibility is needed to the 1.7 km airport that is still under construction and expected this September can be completed. Jo
