BANDUNG-General Manager of ICT Operation Telkomsel Regional West Java, Ardhiono Trilaksono said it recorded a significant data traffic spike up to 56.3 percent during the series of events, especially at the peak of Independence Carnival of Parahyangan Enchantment event in Bandung which jumped to 140 percent compared to ordinary moments .
To that end, Telkomsel has previously participated in the security of telecommunication networks during the event in Bandung initiated by the Government of Bandung in order to commemorate the 72nd anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia.

There are at least 17 BTSs with leading 4G LTE technology reaching these locations plus 2 Compat Mobile BTS Wheels (COMRO) have been alerted to provide the experience of using the best broadband services for the people of Bandung.
"This effort is also an anticipation of skyrocketing data traffic services driven by growing data users in the region of Bandung and its surroundings, especially by customers who capture this annual moment by utilizing streaming chat feature or just download photos and videos through social media access," explained Ardhiono.
Going forward, Synergy with Telkom Group to support every activity of Local Government on such a large scale will continue to run, especially with the development of advanced technology network facilities 4G LTE in Bandung and surrounding areas.
