    Unpad Prepares Cooperation with 7 Regional General Hospital in West Java

    BANDUNG-Seven agencies of Regional General Hospital (RSUD) in West Java to work with the Faculty of Medicine Unpad, General Hospital Center Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung and West Java Provincial Government.

    The cooperation is conducted in efforts to develop education, research, community service, and heart health services.

    The signing was done Head of West Java Provincial Health Office dr. H. Dodo Suhendar, President Director of Dr. Hasan Sadikin Ayi Djembarsari, Dean of Medical Faculty Unpad DR. Yoni Fuadah Syukriani, and Director of Regional General Hospital respectively.

    The seven Regional General Hospital institutions that work together are Al-Ihsan Bandung Regency, Cibabat Hospital Cimahi, Dr. Soekarjo Tasikmalaya City, Jati District Hospital Cirebon City, Banjar District Hospital, District Hospital Sumedang.

    Unpad Rector Prof. Tri Hanggono Achmad said, this cooperation is a manifestation of the implementation of academic system development conducted between Dr. Hasan Sadikin and FK Unpad. The goal is to develop the strength of health services in these areas.

    "If we do not strengthen in the area then the burden will be felt," said Rector.

    As the initial plan, seven hospitals have been authorized West Java Provincial Health Office to become type B hospital. As a type B hospital, the hospital is encouraged to provide limited specialist and subspecialty health services.

    Vice Governor of West Java H. Deddy Mizwar also appreciated the cooperation. According to him, heart patients in West Java is quite high. It is expected that the existence of RSUD is expected to serve the heart patients well.

    "This cooperation is expected to extend to other regional hospitals in West Java, so access to health services will be more open and optimal," said Deddy. Jo
