    Sociodrama Journey of Independence of Indonesia Republic


    BANDUNG-Prior to the ceremony of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day, the Kodam III / Siliwangi held the event "Sociodrama journey of Independence of Indonesia Republic", which took place at Dipenogoro Street in front of Gedung Sate Bandung, Thursday (17/8) at around 08.30 Up to 09.00 wib.

    Dozens of soldiers and the public were involved for the success of the show, including armored vehicles of the 40s. Costumes used by sociodrama actors were adjusted to the conditions of the time.

    Sociodrama narrates the journey of the Indonesian people's resistance in expelling the Dutch and Japanese invaders, to its zenith, the Independence statement read by Bung Karno, on August 17, 1945. Apparently, the journey of the Indonesian nation was not enough with the declaration of independence alone, because of the Dutch wanting Colonize again by piggybacking the arrival of the allied army.

    War for the sake of war occurred, and arrived in the city of Bandung where the people refused their presence (the invaders). Dutch colonists who entered the city of Bandung, welcomed by the people by burning the entire building. This event is famous for the name "Bandung Lautan Api".

    At the end of the sociodrama story, depicted how tough and dare the death of the Indonesian nation in expelling the Dutch colonizers. The climax is the victory of the people and the nation of Indonesia expel the Dutch who greeted the people of Indonesia.

    The sociodrama event was witnessed by Governor and Vice Governor, West Java High Court, West Java Attorney, Head of Police, and Chairman of West Java Parliament and citizens who filled the road of Dipenogoro Bandung.
