BANDUNG-West Java Provincial Government (Pemprov) is optimistic to absorb the budget reaches 90 percent until November 2017.
Vice Governor of West Java, Deddy Mizwar said that during this time the budget deposition due to billing delays made by contractor entrepreneurs.
"Optimistic until next November budget absorption can be up to 90 percent for West Java," he told reporters at Gedung Sate Bandung, Monday (14/08/2017).
Demiz greeting Vice Governor of West Java revealed the assessment of the budget deposition must be seen from the realization of the asset auction sector as well as capital expenditure.
"The precipitate is sometimes the project is running but the collection is done in the future, so it should be seen like asset auction or capital expenditure to what extent realized," he explained.
Demiz revealed that so far contractors often make billing at the end of the project so that the money settles. But with the existence of capital means there is a budget that goes to the community to continue the wheels of the economy, especially in the area of West Java.
"If the project is already running, the billing may be late, so it should be seen first, not just the budget is still there," he said.
The most important thing to note is the amount of budget absorbed. Not the nominal amount of available budget.
"So it must be seen first, not just the budget is still there, also compare the budget with a lot of but a few percent of the budget that has been absorbed," he said.
"It is not how much the budget but what should be paid attention to how the budget has been absorbed," he added.
Including the small amount of Regional Budget (APBD) that allows the budget is not much absorbed. So it must be seen.
"I think there is a government warning about the absorption of this budget but it must be seen what the realization is going on," he concluded. (MAT)
