BANDUNG-Election Commission (KPU) West Java embraces four universities in the city of Bandung to assist the preparation of simultaneously elections 2018 implementation in West Java.
Commissioner of West Java KPU, Aang Ferdiman said the four universities are selected by KPU Jabar, namely Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Padjadjaran University (Unpad), Catholic University of Parahyangan (Unpar) and Pasundan University (Unpas).
Cooperation with Unpad will be more emphasized on the provision Simultaneously Election data as a whole in West Java. He gave an example of preparing the data most needed by the community.
"Let us not prepare 12 data that the community needs only three information, so we survey and prepare the data by Unpad," he told reporters in Bandung, Tuesday (01/08/2017).
Aang explained after the data collected by ITB. So prepared the supporting applications that can be accessed widely by the community. KPU wants to make sure that what is done is in accordance with the needs of the community.
"To define what is the main and priority needed by the community is cooperation with Unpad, after which, with ITB prepared the application," he said.
Whereas with Unpar the cooperation is woven more into processes related to democracy and minority rights. Meanwhile, with Unpas, KPU cooperates in terms of legal aspect.
