BANDUNG-West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) inaugurated the West Java General Hospital Structural Officials at Pameungpeuk which has now become West Java Provincial Hospital. The inauguration took place in Pakuan Building, Bandung, on Thursday morning (31/12).
It’s accordance with West Java Governor Decree No. 821.2/Kep.1520-BKD/2015 dated December 30, 2015 on the structural positions appointment in General Hospital of West Java.
The inauguration was attended by the Regional Secretary of West Java Iwa Karniwa, Vice Regent of Garut Helmi Budiman. The fourth officials was inaugurated, namely Dr. Hj. Nadiya Fachruddin who previously served as Director of Pameungpeuk General Hospital (RSUD) in Garut.
While the other three officials namely Head of Administration Dodi Irawan, S.Kep., Head of Services Section dr. H. Ari Firmansyah, and Nursing Section Doni Romdon Mubarokah, S.Kep. Ners.
Ahmad Heryawan said that rather to manage Pameungpeuk RSUD become West Java provincial hospital is part of the construction of facilities for public health services, especially people who are in the Eastern Region of West Java.
According to Aher, in south region of West Java has begun in development that must be supported by adequate infrastructure. So that it is now necessary to continue building various infrastructure such as road, bridge, including hospitals.
"Although the RSUD in general was always under the county or city, but Health Act allows in addition to special hospitals owned and managed directly by the Provincial Government. So it must be welcomed by advancement in the southern regions of West Java,” said the Governor.
For the initial phase of development, West Java provincial government poured of Rp 1 billion. He expected, in the future these General Hospital in West Java province will better to be a referral hospital by public which covers an area of Garut, Cianjur, Ciamis, Tasikmalaya, and surrounding area.
