BANDUNG-Director General of Social Security Protection of Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos), Harry Hikmat said the President of Indonesia Joko Widodo re-assigned the Family Hope Program (PKH) beneficiaries as much as 10 million while this year Kemensos has distributed up to 6 million Beneficiary Families (KPM). Therefore, next year they will prepare additional KPH about 4 million KPM.
"If there is an addition like this it needs a very serious handling from all parties including the provincial government and regency / city," he told reporters in Bandung, Wednesday (26/7/2017).
The additional amount is based on an integrated database which is now updated continuously by the Ministry of Social Affairs. In addition, said Harry, in accordance with Law No. 11 of 2011 on the handling of the poor people stated that the Ministry of Social Affairs is responsible to determine who belongs to the poor category because that is the source of data taken from PDDT.
Ministry of Social Affairs prioritizes the additional number of PKH beneficiaries to residents who have received rice (Rastra). In addition, it is prioritized for people that live in remote areas.
"With a proportional approach, the addition of 4 million is focused on the people who have received the rice of rastra and in remote areas," he said.
Furthermore, Harry revealed that this PKH has three data validation system before the program was relegated, first when the data was relegated to areas re-verified about the existence of his family. Second, the components are checked and thirdly, the ferivification for entry into the program system includes account opening.
"Because now everything is non-cash with the bank Himbara.Later all this companion will do the verification of each area to update the latest data because who knows that the one who entry is still high school level and when it relagated they has graduated," he explained.
In addition, the Ministry of Social Affairs gave appreciation to local leaders who concerned about the PKH program. Because PKH has reached all families who have entered into the category of vulnerable poverty.
The KPH is belong tol the national development program, not the Ministry of Social Affairs or the central government program.
"The governor, regent, and mayor have the obligation to succeed the program including the attention to the companion, so there is no more reason if the local government does not support the KPH program," he concluded.
