    Aher Hopes All Regencies/Cities APIP in West Java Reached Level 3


    BANDUNG-West Java Governor, Ahmad Heryawan appealed to all Regents and Mayors to improve the Capacity of the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) at Level 3 in 2019.

    This was stated by the Governor of West Java after inaugurating Iman Nugraha as the Head of the West Java Financial and Development Supervisory Board (BPKP) that at the same time received the award of Level 3 Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) for West Java Provincial Government in West Hall Gedung Sate Bandung, Monday (7/24/2017).

    Aher nickname of West Java Governor said in order to encourage the acceleration of quality and good governance which is clean, effective and reliable then the special capability improvement has been listed in the National Medium Term Development Plan (RPJMN) in 2015-2019.

    This is confirmed by the President of Indonesia, Joko Widodo who targets that APIP capability in every Ministry and Local Government at the end of 2019 should be at level 3 as part of the development era.

    "Of course this uses an internal audit capability model that developed by monitoring agencies over the years," he said.

    Along with this, the design that is built to strengthen APIP consist of self-assessment capability, quality assurance and monitoring of APIP capability must be used by all APIP in Indonesia to know its capability level.

    "Of course APIP in local government is the inspector and all its staffs," he said.

    Therefore, Aher continue, in the Central Government a number of ministries / institutions including regency/city governments there are some that have reached level 3.

    "Five provinces are in level 3, one of them is West Java Province," he said.

    According to him, this achievement can not be achieved if in not from the cooperation of all parties including the family of BPKP West Java.

    "I would like to express my highest appreciation, especially on the guidance and training that has been done by the functional position of auditor of assistance and cooperation in West Java Provincial Government," he said.

    "Of course we are aware that it should be upgraded to a declared level of West Java capability or a common commitment with Regency/Cities in 2015 in Cirebon to improve APIP capability as a follow-up to the president's direction," he added.

    Furthermore, Aher added that there are 10 regencies / cities in West Java are at the full level 2, namely Bogor Regency, Indramayu Regency, Sumedang Regency, Karawang Regency, Sukabumi Regency, Garut Regency, Bekasi Regency, Depok, Tasikmalaya and Cirebon, "he explained.

    While level two includes Subang, Ciamis, Cirebon, Tasikmalaya, West Bandung regency, Bandung regency, Sukabumi, Bogor, Bekasi and Bandung.

    "Related to these results, on this occasion I ask for support to all Regents and Mayors including APIP ranks in West Java to constantly improve performance both organically and in Human Resources," he said.

    Moreover, specifically to BPKP Jabar Representative to enhance APIP capability more intensively so that it meets the minimum national standard before 2019.

    "Or entirely in 2019 APIP Regency/City in West Java have entered level 3," he concluded.
