BANDUNG-The operation of electronic parking machine in Bandung since July 17, 2017 has begun to show a positive impact on parking retribution revenue, where during the first five days of operation from 17 to 21 July 2017, the increase in retribution revenue reached 20 percent.
Head of Bandung Department of Transportation (Disub), Didi Ruswandi said, before the operation the retribution income of parking is around Rp 15 million per day, but after the operational income can reach Rp 18 million per day.
"20% increases is just the first five days. We need more 'treatment' so it can be more optimal," said Didi when met in town hall, Wastukencana street No.2 Bandung, Sunday (23/07).
According to Didi even though electronic parking machine has already in operation, but there are still people who do not want to use it with many reason.
"The reasons is vary, for example, do not have e-money card from four banks that have been in cooperated BRI, BNI, Mandiri and BJB Bank, "he said.
In addition, according to Didi, another problem that arises in the application of this parking machine is the parking users who not pay according to what should they pay.
"Lately there are people who parked three hours but only pay for one hours," he said.
