BANDUNG - PT. Bank Pembangunan Daerah West Java-Banten (BJB) Syariah cooperation with Prosperous Praja Consumer Cooperatives (KPPS). Head of KPPS Iwa Karniwa said, the cooperation between KPPS and bank bjb is a strategic step to improve the performance and welfare of its members.
"KPPS will receive various types of more sophisticated services which making it easier for members in their activities, because the form of cooperative applications based on information technology (IT)," he said.
“We have 13,862 members who can make transactions via smartphones. This means more efficient and easier," added Iwa.
Members can easily obtain information about the value of principal savings, mandatory and their voluntary respectively. It was much easier than the members sought to obtain information conventionally. In addition, said Iwa, this makes the system becomes increasingly broad range.
"Bank bjb provides guidance and PIN for members via SMS to predetermined number of banks bjb. Hopefully, the application can be utilised members to perform various types of transactions, as well as other service systems,” Iwa explained.
Managing Director of Bank bjb, Yocie Gusman, said this cooperation is a form of commitment that proclaimed its ranks in order to continue improving system of banking services.
"Cooperative Information System Application Service is ready to provide 24-hour banking services through mobile phones. This application is the first banking services that can be directly accessed cooperative and all its members who have had a number using UMB network (unstructured service supplementary data),” he concluded.
