BANDUNG-The Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) Agency in West Java is still facing a classic problem of capital and raw materials.
According to the Head of KUMKM West Java Anton Gustoni (29/12), during this time, the raw materials are imported from other countries, while there is no Bank that serious about providing capital to KUMKM.
“There is still a capital and raw materials problem. It was indeed a classic problem that we face here, especially in West Java. Until this time, the raw materials are imported, while there is no Bank that specifically provide full assistance to UMKM,” said Anton.
Therefore, according to Anton, the Provincial Government seeks to provide capital through program named “Kredit Cinta Rakyat” (KCR) from BJB.
"One of the efforts preventing this problem is through BJB with KCR program which was launched several years ago by governor. Even though the funds are still limited, but next we will strive to improve it,” he said.
