BANDUNG - Vice Chairman of Commission V of the Provincial House of Representatives (DPRD) West Java Province,Yomanius Untung confirmed that the government gives the solutions for underprivileged students to continue their education to a higher level.
"The principle is that no one shouldn't go to school," he told reporters in Bandung, Friday (7/7/2017).
According to him, about 20 percent of underprivileged students, especially high school graduates (SMP) in West Java continue their education to the State Senior High School (SMA) and Vocational High School (SMK).
"There are 20 percent of underprivileged students accomodated in public school," he said.
Untung said the undervileged students are not free of charge in carrying out their education.
"For undervileged students, there is no fee for Funding of education donations(DSP) or Education Financing Contribution (SPP)," he concluded. (MAT)
