BANDUNG -West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan asserted that the condition of forest and river is a reflection of human civilization. If the forest is damaged and its rivers are dirty, then civilization or human culture is also ugly. It was revealed Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) on Silatnas welcome -Fahutan University Alumni AIK Winaya Mukti at Gedung Sate, Sunday (2/7)

"Therefore, I hope the alumni UNWIM particularly the forestry sector is contributing to preserve forests and rivers, although his work is now nothing to do with science that he get in my university days," he said.

According to Aher, forest preservation is related to the culture of the community. At least the alumni of Unwim can be a pioneer of forest conservation in the community.

"Be a pioneer of forest conservation in their environment, because with the science and pengalamnnya, people will follow to keep the forest," said Aher.

Aher also reveals the results of world body research that the year 2030 predicted the world will experience a clean water crisis. If not anticipated from now, the impact of the water crisis will be more devastating than the energy crisis.
