    The number of travelers this year at Husein Sastranegara International Airport decreased


    BANDUNG-The number of travelers this year who use airplanes decreased compared to travelers last year. It reveals from the data of the number of flights obtained at Idul Fitri 2017 Post at Husein Sastranegara International Airport on H-3 Lebaran, Thursday (22/06/2017)

    In 2016 domestic arrival data at Husein Sastranegara Airport amounts to 279 flights or 34,006 passengers while this year the latest data obtained by the jabarprov.go.id team is 230 flights or 26,082 passengers, decreased about 17.56 percent. As for domestic arrival data (departure) in 2016 as many as 235 flights or 37,093 passengers. While this year as many as 235 flights with 29,230 passengers about 21.20%. This number is lower than last year.

    "Alhamdulillah homecoming flow in Husein Sastranegara international airport today is quite crowded, smooth and conducive," said Zainun Mansyur, Operations Manager of PT Angkasa Pura II met at the airport.

    Then for additional flight, continued Zainun, his party has prepared additional flights for multiple routes from Wings, Garuda and Citilink airlines. Additional flights are still dominant in the Bandung-Surabaya route.

    "The surge of homecoming has been felt from yesterday (H-10) to today but all is conducive, while for backflow is expected on July 1, 2017 because Monday people has entered the office again, Zainun added.

    During this month of Ramadhan, PT Angkasa Pura II organizes several activities and adds some facilities such as music area around the airport, bandros bus in front area for selfie which is the direction of Bandung Mayor, priority bus provided specially for the needy such as pregnant woman, elderly and Disability.

    Zainun hopes that travelers using airplanes obey flight rules.
