BANDUNG-Head of West Java BPJS Regional Health V Muhamad Edison said the number of participation every year is always increasing. Until May 2017 the number of participants has reached 21,545,261 people.
"The number of participants continues to grow, now has reached over 70% of the population in West Java," he said.
According to him the amount is not included from the region of Bekasi, Depok and Bogor, because it entered in the BPJS Jakarta membership. Nevertheless he targets until the end of this year the number of membership will reach 80% of the total population of West Java.
To increase membership, he said it has opened doors for people to easily register themselves as participants. Such as through the website, or BPJS Health applications that can be downloaded via smarphone.
In addition, the register can be done through the dropbox in the nearest subdistrict office, if the conditions are complete then the card has been printed will be sent to the new participants.
