BANDUNG-PT BIJB, Regional Enterprise Owned by West Java provincial government which participated in building Kertajati Airport again received additional funds for the construction of West Java International Airport in Kertajati Majalengka. Funds amounting to Rp 906 billion was obtained through a loan from Syndicate of Sharia Bank throughout Indonesia.
"I am increasingly convinced that this business will be able to run well and profitably when Islamic banks participate in the financing process," said Governor of West Java, Ahmad Heryawan, at the signing of financing agreement between 7 syariah banks throughout Indonesia and PT BIJB, in Gedung Sate , Tuesday (13/6).
Ahmad Heryawan also said that Kertajati airport will be the second largest airport after Cengkareng.
"The prediction there will be seven thousand people or passengers every day, and does not rule out will be one of the airports for the departure of pilgrims in the future," said Aher. According to Aher, West Java provincial government is ready to help if there are problems in the future payment.
