    Mobile Operator Network Ready to Serve Idul Fitri

    BANDUNG - Ahead of Idul Fitri 1438 H, the Indonesian Telecommunication Regulatory Agency (BRTI) ensures the telecommunications operator's network preparedness in anticipation of the potential increase and the movement of traffic, especially during the homecoming, holiday, and Lebaran flows. This presentation was delivered by BRTI Commissioner, Muhammad Imam Nashiruddin at a press conference BRTI in Bandung, Friday (9/6/2017)

    The press conference, entitled "The Evaluation of Readiness of Telecommunication Network to Serve Lebaran and Idul Fitri 1438H / 2017 Flow" was attended by representatives of Ministry of Communications and Informatics, Association of Indonesian Telecommunication Providers (ATSI), representatives of Local Government of Bandung, and all cellular operator in Bandung .

    "This event is a routine activity in the framework of public exposure on the evaluation of operator readiness and anticipation that need to be done related to the potential of increase and the movement of traffic during Lebaran, Lebaran and Lebaran backflow in 2017. Telecommunication network must be able to accommodate capacity and serve the mobility of society Indonesia will be going home "he said.

    Telecommunication network readiness test is conducted throughout May 2017 simultaneously in 10 cities in Indonesia including Batam, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Lampung, Surabaya, Medan, Makassar and Padang.

    "Bandung is expected to be one of the main points of the arrival of homecoming because quite a lot of bandung residents who live in Jakarta apart from Bandung became a tourist city as well as one of the favorite path for travelers with the destination cities in southern Java," he concluded.
