His military career began with the People's Security Service (BKR), the People's Security Army (TKR) and the Indonesian People's Army (TRI) during the time of the first struggle.
Other military careers are Pa / Dan POMDAN II / Bukit Barisan Medan and Pa / Dan PomKOADAIT in Makassar. Husband of Hj. Siti Hafijah and Father of 4 sons and 3 daughters also served as Pa / Dan PUMDAN III Siliwangi in Bandung and Pa / Dan and PUSDIKPOM in Cimahi.
