BANDUNG - Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita said that in realizing better domestic trade governance ahead of Fasting, Idul Fitri and Idul Adha 2017, the Ministry of Trade has set the highest retail price for three commodities such as sugar, cooking oil and frozen meat.

"For sugar amounting to Rp12,500 / kg, simple cooking oil Rp11.000 / liter, and frozen meat with a maximum price of Rp 80.000 / kg," he told reporters in Bandung, Wednesday (24/05/2017)

According to him, to ensure the implementation of this policy, the Ministry of Trade has facilitated the signing of the MoU between the Indonesian Retail Entrepreneurs Association (APRINDO) with sugar distributors, the Indonesian Vegetable Oil Industry Association (GIMNI), the Indonesian Petroleum Industry Association (AIMMI) and the Indonesian Association of Meat Distributors (ADDI) On April 4, 2017 ago.

"This provision has been applied simultaneously in Indonesia since April 10, 2017. Earlier in December 2016, the Ministry of Trade commissioned Bulog to expand the distribution of frozen meat outside Jabodetabek, except for areas that prohibit the circulation of imported meat," he said.

In addition, Enggar said, Ministry of Trade through the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (Daglu) is committed to realizing the principles and implementation of foreign trade management synergistically in 34 provinces throughout Indonesia.

The governance includes exports, imports, export and import facilitation, and trade safeguards. In realizing better foreign trade governance, DG has done several things, such as deregulation and debureaucratization of export and import policies.

"To date, 32 types of export and import licensing have been simplified," he said

Meanwhile, the Director General of Foreign Trade Oke Nurwan said that in order to facilitate ease of export, DG will continue to simplify the trade and bureaucratic trade system in the field of foreign trade, to increase the kind of permits that can be issued electronically and continue to increase the speed of licensing issuance service, One of them through the application of digital signature.

"We will optimize the results of international negotiations through the use of Certificate of Origin (SKA), both manual SKA and electronic SKA, in export implementation. In addition, it will support the facilitation of export financing by involving banking and non-banking institutions, as well as the Indonesian Export Financing Institution (LPEI), "he said.

Oke added that his party has optimized the use of Certificate of Origin (SKA), e-licensing export / import permit, and encourage the trade-off scheme. DG also supports the development of Special Economic Zones (SEZs) and trade safeguards

"Until 2017, 296 cases of dumping, subsidies, and safeguards have been handled by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade," he said.

With regard to the strengthening of the domestic economy and the stabilization of the price of basic commodities, Oke hopes that the policy on the import management of staple goods and the implementation of domestic trade can run synergistically, both at the center and in the regions.

"Hopefully it will lead to the realization of a better trade order for the domestic economic movement and increased exports," he concluded. (MAT
