BANDUNG-Officers will perform maintenance in the form of dredging to maintain the quality, continuity, and quantity (K3) of raw water sources related to Bendung Intake Cipanjalu and Bantar Awi experiencing the deposition of mud caused by waste rock and flood. Therefore, the supply of clean water for the area of North Bandung will be disrupted.
President Director of PDAM Tirtawening Bandung, Soni Salimi, said the work will be done on Thursday (25/5/2017) at 09.00-10.00 WIB and cause the Cipanjalu Mini Plan can not process raw water for about an hour but will not have a significant effect to Eastern customers.
"However, at 09:00 to 13:00 pm will be dredging Bandung Intake Bantar Awi that impact on the decrease in production discharge for approximately 4 hours and impact on service to customers in the north and east," he said
Service interruption due to dredging of Intake Bantar Awi is predicted to last for 15 hours, starting from 09.00 to 24.00 WIB
The areas affected include Dago Street, H. Djuanda Street, Tubagus Ismail Road, Cigadung Street, Sadang Serang Road, Sukaluyu Street, Ciumbuleuit Street, Cihampelas Street, Cipaganti Street, and Simple Street.
Furthermore, Djundjunan Street, Sampoerna Street, Padjajaran Street, Baladewa Street, Cipedes Hilir Street, Central Cipedes Street, Sukajadi Street, Sukaraja Street, Suparmin Street, and Hasan Sadikin Hospital and Borromeus Hospital.
