BOGOR CITY-In the launching event of Department of Sharia Economics, Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM), Bogor Agricultural University (IPB) at IPB International Convention Center, Pajajaran Raya Street, Tegallega, Central Bogor, Bogor City, Tuesday (16/5/17), West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) becames the keynote speech or main speaker in the seminar session. On this occasion, Aher explained the application of the concept of Sharia Economics in the presence of hundreds of students.

Aher explained that Sharia is an economic system based on belief in Allah Almighty with the source of Al-Quran and Sunna of the Prophet. That way, the economic system is believed to bring progress to the nation of Indonesia.

"For economic matters derived from revelation, it's a matter of belief, and it is believed that it is from the universe, Allah Almighty, although in practice it is not necessarily the case but as a matter of fact there is no problem. One that practiced, has not succeeded in practicing, not the concept is wrong. That if then a concept categorized believe, "said Aher.

"In contrast to the concept that comes from humans, based on experience and practice, not belief, if Shariah Ecocomy is the source of Al-Quran and Sunna categorizing beliefs, insha Allah it will advance this nation and NKRI Then we present any concept in the space of our country Love this, in fact this is part of love to the country to present various concepts of life that can bring a more prosperous Indonesia, "he continued.

Economics is the pillar of a civilization. Even half of the element of human creation is the material / physical element or the economy. Aher explained, that the civilization that was built during the time of Prophet Muhammad SAW there are four. The first stage, namely the construction of a mosque. The second stage, the development of social cohesion through brotherhood. The third stage, namely the development of the market. The fourth stage is the development of social security.

"So it should be that the believer goes extraordinary, because faith brings a new paradigm of life, a paradigm of progress, hates poverty, hates ignorance, loatts of all backwardness, which he loves because his faith is progress and progress in the context of faith and devotion The cloak of Allah SWT, "said Aher.

Furthermore, Aher explained that the economic principle in Islam is a fair free market. That is, non-ribawi, non-gharar, and non-greed. According to Aher, distribution is the key for those who have a lot of capital or ability in the material.

"In the context of the right (the financier or wealthy) is spent on the child and his wife (family), for the purposes of his life, then distributed again to others, in the form of compulsory distribution, zakat is the name and distribution is not mandatory infaq and alms. , Infaq alms instead of reducing property but adding property, "said Aher.

With this distribution (zakat, infaq, and alms) the treasure will not be silent. The treasure will flow to the other side, so that others will be energized and become prosperous. According to Aher, this is contrary to Adam Smith's principle, which lets property accumulate to a person or capitalist only.

"Well, Adam Smith is different," said Adam Smith, let the treasures pile up on someone, but it's not a net conglomerate, and then there's a huge gap between rich and poor, "Aher said.

In the face of economic experts, Aher also explains the role model of Sharia Economics applied to the time of Umar bin Abdul Aziz. The thing that Umar bin Abdul Azizi did was first to uphold the rule of law. Then increase the purchasing power through proper distribution of baitul maal treasures. Then the next stage is building infrastructure, such as transportation (bridge) and agriculture (irrigation). In addition, in the leadership of Umar bin Abdul Aziz also carried out agrarian reform (land reform).

"The source of welfare is land and knowledge, land and science.Have land, have the knowledge to manage it, be prosperous," said Aher.

Sharia economics when compared with other economic systems, such as Communist and Capitalist Economy, gives a different impact. Evidently, in the leadership of Umar bin Abdul Aziz, with the application of Sharia Economics in less than three years difficult to find mustahiq (recipient of zakat).

While in Communist Economy, able to dissolve the major Soviet Union into several countries, as well as China which is currently beginning to open up with the system of capitalism. In the Capitalist Economy system, importing The countries of adherents of this system have been repeatedly experiencing economic crisis, even the crisis also occurred in America and Europe as the heart of civilization Capitalist Economy, such as crisis called The Great Depressions (1930), Dotcom Bubble (2000), and The Great Recessions (2008) .

Related to the establishment of the Department of Economics Shariah IPB, Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) was established 6 April 2001 with the study program (Prodi) namely Economics and Management. Currently FEM IPB has four departments and five Bachelor's study program, eight Master Programs, as well as three Doctor Studies.

With the development of Sharia Economy Study Programs into the Department of Sharia Economy in IPB Senate Plenary Session, FEM IPB currently has five departments, namely Economics, Management, Agribusiness, Resource Economics and Environment, and Department of Sharia Economics.

The number of students in FEM IPB reaches about 3,200 people or the second largest after FMIPA IPB. While the staff of permanent lecturers in the Department of Islamic Economics has amounted to 12 people or already meet the minimum requirements of six lecturers.

Development of the Department of Economics of Sharia has significance for the development of Sharia Economy Science in IPB in particular and in Indonesia generally. Because with the status of the department then the Sharia Economic Sciences will have greater capacity and authority in the management of resources and human resources and scholarship.
