On this occasion, Aher explained the application of the concept of Sharia Economics in the presence of hundreds of students.

    Aher explained that Sharia is an economic system based on belief in Allah Almighty with the source of Al-Quran and Sunna of the Prophet. That way, the economic system is believed to bring progress to the nation of Indonesia.

Aher explained, that the civilization that was built during the time of Prophet Muhammad SAW there are four. The first stage, namely the construction of a mosque.     In the face of economic experts, Aher also explains the role model of Sharia Economics applied to the time of Umar bin Abdul Aziz.     Related to the establishment of the Department of Economics Shariah IPB, Faculty of Economics and Management (FEM) was established 6 April 2001 with the study program (Prodi) namely Economics and Management. Currently FEM IPB has four departments and five Bachelor's study program, eight Master Programs, as well as three Doctor Studies.

    With the development of Sharia Economy Study Programs into the Department of Sharia Economy in IPB Senate Plenary Session, FEM IPB currently has five departments, namely Economics, Management, Agribusiness, Resource Economics and Environment, and Department of Sharia Economics.

    The number of students in FEM IPB reaches about 3,200 people or the second largest after FMIPA IPB. While the staff of permanent lecturers in the Department of Islamic Economics has amounted to 12 people or already meet the minimum requirements of six lecturers.

    Development of the Department of Economics of Sharia has significance for the development of Sharia Economy Science in IPB in particular and in Indonesia generally. Because with the status of the department then the Sharia Economic Sciences will have greater capacity and authority in the management of resources and human resources and scholarship.
