    14 Couples with Disabilities Married at Gedung Sate


    BANDUNG-West Java Provincial Government held a 28th charity pulpit event for Dhuafa Year 2017 at West Parking Gedung Sate, Wednesday (17/05/2017). In this event, the mass marriage was held for 14 couples of difabel brides, whose ceremony was held at Al-Muttaqin Mosque which was located in Gedung Sate complex and witnessed by Vice Governor of West Java, Deddy Mizwar.

    This mass marriage of couples with disabilities is the biggest marriage of disabled men ever to Indonesia, thus earning record from Original Record Indonesia (ORI). "Mass marriage is usually the participants of normal people like us, if the disabled with the participants up to 14 couples just like this has never existed before," said Deddy.

    In addition to marrying 14 couples with disabilities, another activity that also earned a record of ORI is a massive massage activity to 1.001 participants by 100 people with visual impairment. Vice Governor of West Java, Deddy Mizwar, and his wife, Gisela Wira Negara, also included in the participants who share the massage from the blind people.

    The series of events closed with entertainment that presents artist of Bandung, such as Doel Sumbang, which is able to bring the audience nostalgic with the songs he brought. While the audience was entertained, 1,000 packages of sembako (9 basic need) were also distributed to 1,000 poor people who were present there.
