BANDUNG-West Java Provincial Government is ready to support the development plan of the Sukabumi-Ciranjang-Padalarang Toll which will begin in 2018.
West Java Regional Secretary Iwa Karniwa said the planned project is a continuation of the Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll that has been planned since 2008.
"The problem is solved after this toll is included in the general plan of the toll road network set by the Minister of Public Works and Housing," he said, contacted by reporters on Monday (8/5).
From the information obtained, the construction of the 68 kilometer toll road section will be carried out by two SOEs namely Waskita Karya and Jasa Marga. West Java provincial government hopes that if the exploitation of this toll has been completed then the development process can begin.
"This toll can break the congestion that occurred in Sukabumi and Padalarang," he said.
Iwa ensured that the West Java Department of Highways and Spatial Planning has completed the feasibility study (FS) and the details engineering design (DED) of the 68 kilometer project. The Sukabumi-Ciranjang-Padalarang toll road will be built along 60 km and divided into two phases.
"This toll road project is actually designed more easily because Bocimi Toll has been running," he said. (Even)
