Coming to Ramadan, West Java Food and Livestock Service Office will Control the Beef Prices

BANDUNG-Head of Food and Livestock Service Office of West Java Province, Dodi Firman Nugraha said, he will coordinate with business actors, namely with beef traders. Because the month before the holy month of Ramadan, the price of beef always increase.

"We hope and ask them not to increase the price incriminating to the buyers or consumers," he told reporters in Bandung, Friday (05/05/2017)

Dodi estimates that beef price increases reach 20 percent. It is still considered reasonable. However, he reminded people not to buy beef if the price is unreasonable.

"The prediction of price increase is about 10-20 percent." People do not have to buy if the price is not reasonable, "he said.

Dodi hopes that stock of beef in West Java does not exist when facing the moment of Ramadan, Eid al-Fitr and other religious holidays.

"The price of meat is still reasonable, because demand rises, which is a problem if the price is expensive and the meat is not on the market," he concluded. (MAT)
