SUMEDANG REGENCY- Hundreds of Watergate officers enlivened the commemoration of World Water Day XXV in which the peak commemoration for West Java level was concentrated in Jatigede Dam area, Sumedang Regency, on Thursday (04/27).
During the event, West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan and Chairman of PKK of West Java Province, Netty Prasetyani Heryawan spread 5 million fish eggs in Jatigede Dam prepared by West Java Agency of Marine and Fisheries.
In addition to spreading various types of fish, in the event of World Water Day commemoration which carried the theme "Water and Wastewater", it was also conducted 700-tree planting consisting of 500 clove trees and 200 coconut trees from West Java Agency of Plantation.
On the occasion, West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan and Chairman of West Java PKK (Family Welfare Movement) Netty Prasetyani, gave prizes of 3 units of bicycles and 7 mobile phones for those who were able to answer questions.
After giving his speech, the Governor directly visited an exhibition that showed various programs and the work of a number of agencies and institutions which amounted to 16 booths. (Parno)
