BANDUNG-Head of Department of Transportation of West Java, Dedy Taufik, ensured that Cipamingkis bridge at Jonggol village, Bogor regency could not be used for the next six months.
"So Cipamingkis will be impassable at Eid," he said to the journalists in Bandung, Monday (17/4/2017).
Dedy said that the Department of Transportation still imposed the traffic diversion before the bridge repair completed. In addition, the Transportation Department of West Java also prohibited vehicles that charged more than nine tons crossed the bridge.
"Now the vehicle that charged more than nine tons cannot cross the bridge," he said.
Besides heavy-laden vehicle, Cipamingkis bridge could not be crossed by small vehicles as well. HOwever, for the small vehicles could use an alternative path through Rawa Bogo and Cibucil.
"Therefore, we also built security post around the bridge to prepare officers from the Transportation Department (Dishub) of West Java, Jasa Marga, and Police," he added.
Dedy added that the Ministry of Transportation had not granted regarding the vehicles crossings on Cipamingkis bridge that carrying the nine staples on D-& and D+7 Eid 2017.
