78 Thousands Tickets for Eid Sold Out

BANDUNG-The Public Relation Manager of Indonesian Railways Company Operational Area (PT. KAI Persero Daop) 2 Bandung, Joni Martinus, said that currently the regular ticket sales for the 2017 Eid transport had been sold 78.650 seats from the total 192.966 seats.

"Currently the tickets for Eid had been sold around 78 thousands seats from the total 192 thousands seats," he said to the journalists in Bandung, Tuesday (13/4/2017).

Joni said that the remaining regular tickets were 114.316 seats. "The availability of regular tickets is beyond of additional tickets," he said.

Joni said that the tips for prospective train passengers to obtain additional tickets for Eid were: use stable internet connection and try to find alternate date and route of departure.

If on favourite days were full-booked, Joni added, try to find on other days or try to change the route. For example, buy the tickets not from Bandung to Solo, but try to find another alternate route from other station, such as Cipeundey, Tasikmalaya, or Banjar or you can use alternate season tickets for example if you want to go to Solo, you can book tikcets with route Bandung-Kutoarjo, and then continue using trains with route Kutoarjo-Solo.

"If at the beginning of booking the traffic is already high/busy, you can try to access the website again at 3 in the morning," he said. (MAT).
