GARUT– Computer-Based National Exam (UNBK) at vocational school level that took place last week was followed by 90% of students or schools, while the rest of them did paper-based exams. Meanwhile the high school level UNBK was followed by around 86% schools.
Head of Vocational Education Department, Dodin Nuryadin said that the level of vocational is better prepared because they are facilitated with more complete tools.
"It is because there is a lesson on computer operation and the schools have computer labs, as opposed to high schools. There are only certain schools that have computer labs, he explained while accompanying Vice Governor of West Java reviewing UNBK in Garut, on Monday (10/4)
He added that some constrained conditions are more prevalent in rural areas, because of the limitations of the network as well as facilitates. But he thinks next year 100% of the obstacles will be solved.
Vice Governor of West Java province, Dedy Mizwar added, in Musrenbang, education will be a priority, especially in the pursuit of a target of 100% future implementation of UNBK in 2018. Jo
