    The Products of West Java Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) are Able to Master the Global Market


    BANDUNG–The products of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) from West Java that using online marketing system can master the global market.

    The Governor of West Java, Ahmad Heryawan, said that previously the UMKM products were known only in West Java, however using the online marketing system the market was extended.

    "All this time the Bandung UMKM products are only known in Bandung, if it is marketed in Ciroyom then it will be only known by the consumers in Ciroyom. But if we use online marketing system, not only cosumers from Papua, but also consumers from America can see our products," he said to the journalists in Bandung, Friday (31/3/2017).

    Aher explained that if the products are interesting, it is possible to attract foreign consumers to buy West Java UMKM products. According to him, through the innovation of online marketing technology which is provided by Communication and Informatics Department (Diskominfo), it can can save the cost of product promotion.

    "This is a great technology innovation. Previously, we had to promote our products through advertisements, now we can just click the internet network which is provided by Kominfo, the citizens can promote their products," he said.

    The Governor of West Java who familiarly called Aher thought that UMKM as the the back bone of the Indonesian economy, proven economic crisis happened in our country, UMKM survived the economic crisis.
