BANDUNG - A total of 168 students from various cities in Bandung, Bogor, Tasikmalaya, Cirebon and Kuningan, have participated in the StockLab Investment Game Competition held by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of West Java Regional 2 and Bandung Representative Office of Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
Chief of Organizing Committee of the StockLab Investment Game, Tjandra Nyata Kusuma expects the game can expand and enhance the knowledge and participation of the society in the use of financial products and services in capital market.
"This game is a form of education and literacy for the capital market, how do we invest mainly in stocks and mutual funds," Tjandra informed www.jabarprov.go.id, at the Pajajaran Convention Hall, OJK's Regional Office 2 of West Java, Thursday (03/30).
Tjandra has targeted that through the activity which took place in Bandung, the 4th city after in Semarang, Kendari and Aceh, the participants can find out what to do in a transaction in the capital market.
"We hope the participants in which the majority are college students, in the future can enhance the literacy of the capital market," said Tjandra, who is also Head of the Capital Market Supervisory Division of West Java Regional Office 2.
Two winners of the game that took place in Bandung will participate in the grand final which will take place in Jakarta on the 9th to 10th of August, 2017.
