BANDUNG-Indonesia Aerospace (PT DI) Inc exported the 50th tailboom and fulsage again that had been collected which was the 60th to France Airbus Helicopter.
The CEO of Indonesian Aerospace Inc, Budi Santoso said that the success of industry cooperation between DI Inc with Airbus Helicopter had started from 4 past decades, with the number of helicopter that had exported reached 40 units.
"DI Inc becomes the main importer of tailboom and fuselage helikopter EC725/H225M in the world besides Spain." he said to reporters in Bandung, Wednesday (3/15/2017).
The cooperation value of making 2 units of tailbooms was USD 88,000 or USD 44,000 per unit and 1 unit fuselage was USD 385,000. H225/H225M helicopters that previously noticed as EC225/EC725 was a new generation from NAS332 Super Puma Helicopter.
Budi explained that his parties were able to do fuselage order in 10 weeks so that in 2.5 months Indonesian Aerospace Inc could send 1 integrated fuselage to France. While for tailboom could be done once in 3 weeks.
"Indonesian Aerospace Inc doesn't only assamble, but also make from raw material become a product," he said.
According to him, based on the contract, DI Inc would supply 125 fuselages and 125 tailbooms. Before handling H225/H225M Helicopter's body in assemblied form, DI Inc had handled-over 49 units of tailboom and 5 units of fuselage.
"The strong manufacture relationship has shown rapid progress in the industry of production of important components in Indonesia," he concluded.
