PURWAKARTA - State-owned company Perum Jasa Tirta (PJT) II produced electricity in a year for approximately 826 Kwh.
The I director of PJT II, Sumyana Sukandar said that Hydropower(PLTA) of Ir. H. Djuanda in Jatiluhur's production had been improved from 160 MW become 187 MW since 1994 until 1998.
"With this improvement of electrical power, so the production of electricity is about 826 KWh per year," he said to the reporters in Purwakarta, Tuesday (3/7/2016).
Sumyana also added that some of them were used for their own needs and developing companies while the rest were sold to National Electricity Company (PLN) through 150 KV and 70 KV voltages.
"Some of the electricity is for our needs and also for developing companies and bussiness," he said.
According to him, the companies' profit was about 70% from electrical power from Hydropower (PLTA). In the future, there will be so many waterfall constructions in the irrigation system that have hydro power from 50 KVA up to 5,000 KVA.
"About 70% of the company's profits are from water," he explained.
Sumyana added that his parties will build a new brach of advanced energy company soon. That has been targeted 3 years of break event point (BEP).
"We have targeted from a new branch company that the BEP will be for 3 years," he concluded.
