    Governor Held a Wedding Ceremony of His Eldest Son


    JAKARTA – Governor of West Java Ahmad Heryawana (Aher) has held a wedding ceremony of his first son. Khobbab Heryawan gets married to Nadia Riyastika Ilyas. The 'akad' or marriage solemnization took place at Sasono Utomo TMII Building, Taman Mini Street East Jakarta, Sunday morning (3/5/2017).

    The akad was going well and started at 10.15 a.m. with a marriage sermon delivered by KH. Abdullah Gmynastiar or Aa Gym. The witness for the bridegroom was Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar, while the witness for the bride was Mayjen TNI (Purn) Gasin Aman. There were present at the akad the families of both the bride and bridegroom, and also some figures of West Java.

    Head of Publication Division of West Java Public Relation Bureau Ade Sukalsah informed that the wedding reception of Khobbab and Nadia will be held in the evening of the day at 7 p.m at the same place in a traditional Sundanese and Acehnese ceremony. 4000 invitations have been sent and 14000 portions of meals are served for the guests.

    The wedding reception is planned to be attended by some national figures: the President and the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia and also a number of Ministers from the Working Cabinet.

    For the reception, the family has also prepared unique souvenirs from West Java for the invited guests. "There are unique souvenirs for the guests. First, there are cover notes which are an upcycling product, materials that have better quality. These products are made by Rancage Bogor Community. The second souvenir is a bag made from pandan leaves, made in Tasikmalaya," said Ade who was also one of the wedding committees, during the solemnization of marriage.

    In addition, in the area of wedding reception it is also provided by some selfie booths for the guests, and also various displays with unique and interesting themes characteristically from the Pasundan Land.

    Khobbab is the first son of Ahmad Heryawan and Netty Prasetiyani who was born in 1992. He is the eldest of six siblings. Meanwhile, Nadia is the second of four siblings and born in 1992. Nadia is the daughter of Mayjen TNI (Purn) H. M Ilyas Yusuf and Hj. Denna Ritha who live at Margonda Regency, Depok.

    Khobbab and Nadia are a couple from the same alma mater Indonesia University. When they were college students, Khobbab took International Relations major while Nadia was a student of Communications major.
