BANDUNG — Provincial Government of West Java begins to organize and record a number of assets used for the National Sports Week (PON) event and Peparnas in 2016.
It was discussed during the meeting of assets management after PON and Peparnas in Ciremai Room, Sate Building, Bandung, Thursday (3/2) which was led by Regional Secretary of West Java Iwa Karniwa and Regional Assistant of Governmental and People Welfare Division, Koesmayadi Tatang Padmadinata.
The Regional Secretary Iwa Karniwa said that the meeting with all related institutions mostly discussed about the capital expenditure allocated by the Provincial Government to a number of OPD since 2014-2016. "There are some equipment, venue of the competition, competition equipment, communication devices, and promotion stuff," he said.
The meeting has two purposes. The first is report from each OPD regarding the completeness status and the assets security. Therefore, while the Audit Board (BPK) does the verification, the physical report can be shown. "The second is handing over the capital expenditure to be managed by the Government of West Java Province or Regencies/Cities," he explained.
He further explained that there are 6 main OPD relating to the capital expenditure which are Department of Housing and Settlements regarding venue, Department of Transportation regarding equipment and vehicles."Disparbud regarding the equipment for opening and closing ceremonies, Disperindag regarding promotion stuff, and Kominfo will cover communication devices and computers," he said.
Iwa asked the heads of OPD who are the head of those mentioned department, to make inventory and entry. Then, they need to prepare for the handover of assets to the Provincial Government of West Java in which in this case is Financial Management and Regional Assets Agency. "It is expected that in the mid-March, it has been finished as well as the verification from BPK," said Iwa who are also the Daily Chief of PB PON/Peparnas.
