DENPASAR-Head of the National Craft Council (Dekranasda) West Java Netty Heryawan, accompanied by board members visited Sundanese residents who are members of the Sundanese-Balinese association, on Sunset Road number 135, Kuta, Bali, on Friday (04/12) night.
Netty said, in addition to silahturahmi (communal togetherness), this meeting was also held in order to build the spirit of Sunda citizens reaching achievement, despite being away from West Java. She also advised that this community should always maintain the good name of West Java.
"We want to build a spirit of performing for Sundanese citizen wherever they are," said Netty met after the silahturahmi.
"They should also be able to interact with the locals and don’t disgrace the good name of West Java," she continued.
Related coordination with the Provincial Government of West Java, Netty revealed that the Head of the Sundanese-Balinese association Kang Jaka, along with Governor Ahmad Heryawan has established a communication forum of Pangumbaraan Sundanese people. Netty hopes that the forum will be a great home that can unite the various Pasundan communities in Bali.
"Through this way we can exchange information, good news of success Sundanese people in various provinces,” said Netty.
Netty and staffs of Dekranasda also briefly visited the West Java Tourist Information Centre (TIC) in Kuta, as a promotion facility which involving 10 major provincial civil partners therein.
