BANDUNG –West Java Branch Office of Jasa Raharja provided compensation to the victims of West Java Local Revenue Agency (Bapenda) bus accident.
Head of West Java Branch Office of Jasa Raharja, Delya Indra said that the heirs of each deceased victims would receive Rp. 25 million in compensation.
“The compensation has been paid through the bank accounts of the heirs on Sunday (1/29),” said Indra to the reporters in Bandung, on Tuesday (1/31/2017)
Furthermore, Indra said that for the eighteen injured victims, Jasa Raharja itself gave a letter of letter to the hospital. Each injured victims would get Rp 10 million in compensation.
“We have given a letter of guarantee to the hospital stated that each of the injured victims will receive Rp 10 million in compensation for medical treatment,” said Indra.
As having been known, the group of Assistance Branch Office (KCP) of Bapenda of West Java Province, Region I Cirebon Regency which consisted of 30 people (including Civil Servants, office assistants, and 9 people from tourism agency) took off from the Soekarno Hatta Airport in the midnight of Saturday (1/27/17).
At around 10.00 of Indonesia Local Time (WIB), the group got a bus accident. Their bus fell off into ravine in the area of Malangbung, north Lombok, NTB while heading to the tourist destination Kaliantan Beach. The road had steep ascent and descent. It was assumed that the bus was lost control because the brake failed while it descended the road.
