JAKARTA-Provincial Government of West Java received an award from the Minister of Justice and Human Rights of the Republic of Indonesia (Menkumham), on Immigration Law Enforcement Support in the formation of Foreigner Oversight Team (TIMPORA), in which the numbers of teams are the most among other provinces.
The charter award was directly given to the Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar, by Menkumham Yasonna Laoly, on the 67th event of Bhakti Immigration, at Graha Pengayoman Kemenkumham RI on Rasuna Said street, Kav. X-6 No. 8 Jakarta, Thursday (01/26/2017).
"West Java Provincial Government continuously improves the role of TIMPORA in the task of supervising, preventing, and resolving issues related to foreigners" said Deddy Mizwar.
TIMPORA in the level of West Java province was formed in mid-2016, chaired by the Head Office of Kemenkumham of West Java with members from the Immigration Division of West Java Kemenkumham, West Java Regional Police, Disnakertrans of West Java, Kesbangpol Agency of West Java and regional TIMPORA.
In addition to the provincial level, TIMPORA was also formed in a number of regencies/cities in West Java, that work at the Immigration Office class I Bandung, Immigration Office Class II Bogor, Tasikmalaya, Sukabumi, Cirebon, Depok, Karawang, and the Immigration Office Class III Bekasi ,
"West Java Province also became the first province that simultaneously formed at once provincial TIMPORA as well as regional TIMPORA," he explained.
