BANDUNG–In accordance with the organization's agenda that has been set in the Constitution and Bylaws (ADART) Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin), The management of Kadin in the period of 2013 -2018 held a Kadin Provincial leardership meeting (Rapimprov) III West Java, at Hotel Aryaduta, Sumatra street, Bandung, Tuesday (24/1).
Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar was present to officially open the Rapimprov. Specially, the 'keynote speech' was given directly to Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) Jusuf Kalla.
On the occasion, the vice Governor Deddy MIzwae explained matters related to the economic performance of West Java Province in 2016. According to the official news agency Statistical Center (BPS) of West Java province, West Java economy in the third quarter of 2016 measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) reached 423.13 trillion, while GDP at constant prices in 2010 was 325.18 trillion.
"So, the Economic Growth Rate (LPE) of West Java in the third quarter of 2016 to the third quarter of 2015 grew 5,76% (yoy). It means that the rate has increased compared to the same period in 2015 that was 5.02%, "said Deddy Mizwar.
The LPE of West Java also grew above the national LPE which is only 5.02%. Meanwhile, in terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the business in information and communication field, that reached 13.66%, while the expenditure was reached by exports of goods and services that grew 13.08%.
The sources of growth rate, or a source of growth (SOG) in year-on-year (yoy) from the field of business, which contributed the biggest growth is processing industry, which amounted to 1.96%, while from the expenditure, the positive contribution to the growth is the exports field of goods and services that reached 4.65%.
"Furthermore, in the fields of investment, the total amount of the realization of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Domestic Investment (DCI) in the period of January to September 2016 in West Java is equal to 111.405 trillion, an increase of 7.931 trillion from the same period in 2015. And this has reached 104.12% of the target amount of investment based on the PMDB, which is 107 trillion, "said Deddy.
"The realization of these investments consisted of 82.59 trillion of mandatory project of LKPM, which includes 60.33 trillion of PMA, and 22.26 trillion of domestic investment, as well as 28.815 trillion of non-LKPM domestic investment projects," he added.
The total number of workers absorbed were 307 745 people, which means an increase of approximately 26.160 people from 2015. While the total numbers of projects were 28.034 projects, an increase of 1,960 projects from 2015.
