    Launching JabarProv-CSIRT

    BANDUNG - West Java Provincial Government through Communication and Informatics Boards West Java province launch the formation of "Incident Computer Security Response Team of West Java Provincial Government" (JabarProv-CSIRT), Thursday (3/12), located in the West Hall of Gedung Sate, Bandung.

    The launching implementation of JabarProv-CSIRT conducted by the Head of Communications and Informatics Boards West Java province, Dudi Sudrajat Abdurachim, representing the Regional Secretary West Java province were unable to attend. It’s conducted in front of the information and technology management in West Java.

    JabarProv-CSIRT a service provided to OPD entire West Java provincial government. CSIRT needed in every dangerous activity which happened everywhere and overtime. It will give a response activities on information security incidents, by providing services needed to resolve the issue. In addition seeks to prevent for OPD under the auspices of the West Java provincial Government.

    West Java Secretary in a speech read by the Head of Diskominfo stated that with this team is expected that the cyber world in West Java province further evolve both its technology and human resources.

    "Considering the importance of JabarProv-CSIRT team for creating the data and information security and also to prevent various attacks that can destroy it. I hope it can be followed up with establish the smaller teams in each provincial apparatus working units (SKPD),” said the secretary, Iwa Karniwa.

    After the launching ceremony, it continued by a discussion about security data and information by the IT experts, including Ir. Budi raharjo, IT experts from ITB and Aswin Sasongko, the Communication and Information Technology (TIK) Council.
