BANDUNG - An international broadcasting organization forum under the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) which is the Islamic Cooperation Broadcasting Regulatory Authorities Forum (IBRAF) will hold an international broadcasting meeting on February 22-24 2017 in Bandung City, West Java. There will be about 41 states that have been confirmed to attend the meeting.
Chairman of Indonesian Broadcasting Commission (KPI) Yuliandre Darwis informed that there are 57 member states of OIC, but only 30 states which have Broadcasting Commission.
"All of the member states will attend the meeting, but there are also several states that will be present such as the United States, New Zealand and Australia, Portugal, and also Netherlands. So there are 41 states in total confirmed to attend the international broadcasting meeting," Yuliandre explained to the reporters in Bandung, Saturday (2/18/2017).
Yuliandre informed that almost 70% of the participants will come early on February 21 2017, so that the committee will organize a City Tour for the participants to introduce the West Java cultures in Bandung.
"On February 21, we are going to organize a city tour to be familiar with Bandung, and then we'll take a lesson. Enjoying the culture of West Java in person," he said. (MAT)
