BANDUNG-Regional Office of the Ministry of Justice and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) West Java tighten oversight of 11 thousand foreign nationals in West Java, where five thousand of them status as foreign workers.
Head of Regional Office of West Java Kemenkumham, Susy Susilawati, said foreign workers in West Java predominantly South Korea citizen. As many as 74 thousand foreign workers in Indonesia and five thousand of them are South Koreans who work in a number of areas in West Java.
"We tighten oversight of foreign nationals, mostly citizens of South Korea," she told reporters in Bandung, Tuesday (7/2).
Susy added, her side oversees the presence of foreigners in West Java by intensifying the visas expired. In the regulatory process, she claimed hindered by the lack of inspectors.
"Total of foreigners in West Java is over 11 thousand people, while the Immigration office there are only eight," she concluded.
