BIMA-West Java Provincial Government to provide assistance to flood victims Bima City as much as USD 3.5 bln. Of this assistance amounting to Rp 1.5 billion will be used for the construction of Masjid Raya Bima, while USD 2 billion will be used for immediate relief and rehabilitation residents.
"Please permit Mr. Governor, I ask the help of Rp 3 billion of this will be used to fix the Masjid Raya Bima City," said Mayor Bima M Qurais Haji Abidin when receiving a symbolic directly from West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan (Aher) in the Office of the Mayor Bima, Jl. Soekarno Hatta Bima, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), on Monday (01.16.17).
West Java's assistance in the form of funds amounting to Rp 2 billion came from funds not suspect Jabar 2017 budget that will go to the city budget Bima. Coupled with Rp 1 billion coming from West Java community gathered through Baznas and CSR of Bank Jabar Banten.
"We came here to deliver the assistance of West Java community," Aher said in his speech.

The flash floods in the town of Bima occurred on December 21, 2016 last. From a total of 38 subdistricts, 33 were affected by floods with damage arising up to 100%. Catastrophic losses estimated at Rp 1 trillion.
"What we are facing severe trauma society. There is a concern of the community, so when people see a dark cloud just now fear. It could be flooded again, lest the flood again," said Haji Abidin.
Emergency response Milky flood lasted for three days. However, a flood occurred again on December 23, 2016 and struck two villages, so that the emergency response was extended for two weeks and will end on Thursday, January 19, 2017 to come.

This school received donated 150 school bags, stationery, sports equipment, learning equipment, and there is also support for teachers. "Little children, let us keep our surroundings. Maintain our forests, maintain our rivers. Because in West Java that now there is a new slogan that we are more in love with the environment, which is 'We Keep Alam, Alam Keep Kita'," urged Aher in before dozens of students the school.
Aher then continue its review to the Masjid Raya Bima City is still under construction. The process of building this mosque has reached about 70%.
