Occupancy Hotel in West Java is Descending

BANDUNG-Domestic tourists visit (domestic tourism) and foreign (tourists) to Bandung in particular and to West Java in general is decline. This statement was made by Chairman of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (IHRA), West Java, Herman Muhtar.

According to Herman, the decline in domestic and foreign tourist visits can be seen from the occupancy hotels in the whole West Java which decreased compared to the previous.

"For Bandung City occupancy hotels only reach 70% -80% while in West Java just over 60%," in West Java Tourism Promotion Strategy Discussion at Panghegar Hotel Bandung West Java, on Wednesday (28/12).

Herman reasoned, the low occupancy can not be separated from global economic conditions that are still felt to this day and the number of hotels continues to grow.

"If I see an example only, a recession is just not in us the same in other countries, such as Malaysia we expected more but the fact is from 5 to 3," he said. (Parno)
