BANDUNG-PT. Bio Farma for the 4th time back to achieve the award of Public Information Openess 2016 from Central Information Commission, on December 19, 2016 at the Vice President Palace of the Republic of Indonesia, in Jakarta. Award is presented by the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Jusuf Kalla, the Production Director of Bio Farma, Juliman, this is a tribute to the 4th time since 2013.
This award is a Bio Farma's commitment to consistently implement Law No. 14 of 2008 on Public Information Openness (KIP), which requires public agencies including State Owned Enterprises (SOEs) to present information intended for the public interest.
With a score of 81.27 Bio Farma was ranked third in the category of SOE public agencies, followed by PLN as rank 2 and rank Taspen 1.
According to Director of Production of Bio Farma, Juliman, "Application of KIP is able to encourage the corporation to be able to compete globally, this award is an achievement for Bio Farma, which with a value above 80 already qualify informative" said Juliman.
Assessment through a strict assessment of the Central Information Commission in 2016 conducted during 2016 through Self-Assessment Questionnaire (SAQ) as a measurement for the Public Agency in carrying out the mandate of KIP Law.
