    West Java Will Change Port Development Regulation Within 12 Working Days


    JAKARTA-To accelerate the realization of the construction of Patimban Port in Subang, West Java Provincial Government will propose changes to the old regulation within 12 working days to West Java parliament. It is done in accordance with the results of the coordination meeting between West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan with Indonesian Maritime Coordinating Minister Luhut Pandjaitan in Coordinating Ministry of Maritime Office, MH Thamrin Street No. 8, Jakarta, Wednesday afternoon (12/14/16).
    In the meeting also attended by the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya, Minister of Planning / Head of Bappenas Bambang Brojonegoro, Plt. Subang Regent Imas Aryumningsih, as well as relevant officials from West Java province.
    After the meeting, West Java provincial government through Governor Ahmad Heryawan expressed regulation which was originally set up on Port Development Cilamaya in Karawang will be converted into law on Patimban Port Development in Subang within 12 working days, mainly related to the substance of regulation about changes Spatial Planning ( RT RW).
    "Hopefully, the change could be using the Law No. 12 of 2011 which changes fast style regulation, yes. That is 12 days and it is allowed by the laws," said Aher encountered after the meeting.
    "Regulation that is changed but the changes are changes in partial or limited. And the changes are limited it does not have to use the normal process of the usual days or even months or a year and have to go through the committee, that the change of spatial plan was a year on average," said Aher.
    Later, the contents mainly related spatial plan will be changed from Cilamaya to be Patimban, and there are several chapters changes and the addition of one article.
    To that end, Aher revealed that all parties sure that the changes regulation plan, in the meeting disclosed that the Ministry for maritime parties would send a letter to the provincial government of West Java and West Java parliament.
    "The possibility of a letter will be received from the Ministry for maritime tomorrow (Thursday, 12/15/16), then we'll prepare the paperwork and Friday we will send to the Parliament of West Java. Hopefully Monday can be processed," please Aher.
    Patimban port will become a regional business and industry. Later, not only an international port, but also there are also supporting regional such as industrial area and trade.
